ICAR-DMR, Solan has received National  recognition, in 1999, it was awarded the Best Institute Award for the best institution in the ICAR.

Rajrishi Tandon Award

ICAR-DMR, Solan has also received Rajrishi Tandon Award (Second Prize ) in 2000-2001.

Best Cashless Institute Award 

ICAR-DMR, Solan received the Best Cashless Institute Award during Directors' Conference at New Delhi on 14th February 2017
